Satay with a twist!
Ingredients for 6 skewers:

300 g tofu

60 ml ketjap manis (sweet soy sauce)

5 ml oil (for frying)

½ tsp curry powder

¼ tsp ground ginger

¼ tsp ground lemongrass

¼ tsp garlic powder
Preparation:
Mix the four spices together. Then add the ketjap manis and stir well. Cut the tofu into cubes and mix it into the marinade. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors. Heat some oil in a pan and stir-fry the tofu cubes until crispy. Let them cool slightly and optionally thread them onto satay skewers.
Tip:
Serve the satay with a rice dish or enjoy as a snack. Want to try another plant-based option? Use tempeh instead! For garnish, you could add chopped spring onion and/or sesame seeds.
